I really love this song and it really hits me personally. As beautiful as this song is it reminds of my sons father when I was holding on to a dead end relationship for the sake of my son but the pain he caused me forced me to love and hate him at the same time until I got the guts to let go...So glad I did because I now have the most wonderful husband and my son has the father he deserved all along. This song came out long after that ended but unfortunately thats the only person this song makes me think of...other than LOVE this is one of her best songs, a real tear jerker...
