That re-thinking of Heavy Metal Machine blew me away. So much creativity in the vocals and lyrics and music all in one song, And I didn't find myself saying, "When will this be over??" at any time through the whole 12 minutes and 41 seconds like I do with most of rock's 3 minute pointless, lifeless, menaingless songs of the past decade. Experimentation is a well-used tool by the Pumpkins. Who agrees? I'd like to know, because I don't know anyone in my personal life who likes them enough to say.
