I like the song, but I lost all respect for them for what they did. Yes, the song says it-- I don't know if I can forget what they did. Yes, they have freedom of speech, but to go to another country and trash their President? I don't think so. There are just some things you don't do.

And i for one am glad to see this president leave and not a moment to soon. his ambistions were all for oil and nothing more just as his fathers were!
I am White American woman, Scot-Irish, English, French, Polish, Italian, Flanders and the list goes on, one thing is for sure ... I am 100% God loving American and proud of it, served my country in the U.S. Army! Chicks have a great voices, just not a political one. Vocal Mistakes made, can cause all kinds of problems, have to be perfect in the recording studio too or you won't make the cut or cut a recording.
koby keith should have minded his own biz, if i speak my mind , i have that right, i see nothing wrong with what they did, i have done it tons of times but im not famous so its not a big deal. i dont like bush i think he had killed tons of solders for nothing!!!!
I'm an african american man, living in phila. pa., and my music preferance is mostly R&B, But hearing this song, and knowing the story behind it, have truly made me a Dixie Chicks fan! Go get em' girls!!
love this song and the dixie chicks. they spoke there minds and who cares about bush he is the reason why we are in war!!!!!!!! and he is the reason the world is evil now.
um, they didn't say it on america. they "spoke their minds" in england. they were too big of cowards to do it in their country. and btw, how come people stand behind them but not toby keith? if u think ur big and bad enough to speak ur mind, then have the dignity to accept others opinions. and if they feel the need to criticize someone who can't seem to please anyone, then they can run the country...or go to iraq with our troops. course, since their women, they would be shot. ppl really think iraqi's care about women's opinion? look how they treat them
