The music that's being called country today would make ol' Hank roll over in his grave.
True country music back in my childhood in the 50's and 60's was written and performed by artists that truly felt and lived the pain of life.
If these young musicians today would have to travel from show to show in the back of an old station wagon with the entire band and instruments. I'd venture to guess we'd have a lot less top 40's country and alot more feelin in your heart and cryin in your beer songs.
