Somtimes you do not know you are the other woman, but when you find out you should end it!!!!!, better than that Men should not do it.

It truly is just a song and a good one at that.

For those of you who didnt know...... This song was made based on Reba McEntire's song Whoever's In New England. Where Reba writes from the wife's point of view, this song Stay is supposed to be from the other womans point of view.

Listen to the words, she refers to the call "from home." This song is not from the wife's point of view. It's a country song, and they've been about cheatin' since the days of Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline and Hank Williams. Get over it. It's a SONG.

I like the song, but I agree with the idea it is more like the wife singing, not the other woman. I have no sympathy for the "other" woman.

OK...enough...if you have to share a bed with someone other than your spouse...it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that you are not happy in your marriage! Are people really that naive? Sorry - I do not feel bad for either the wife or the other woman wishing things would change! I do however like this song...maybe the wife is a miserable PITA and the husband feels unappreciated/unloved by her? If this is the case - I do not blame him for straying, but he should just STAY with the one he truly loves and face the music whatever the consequences may be...it is very unhealthy to remain in a loveless marriage (yes even for the children) than to see their parents happier with someone else who appreciates them and makes them a better parent. Believe me the kids adjust - as long as the adults act like the adults and not the children!
Apologies in advance to those who disagree!

PS. I think this works both ways - follow your heart.
