Considering this song depends mostly on her natural vocal cord (her voice) I think she sings beautiful. Not many singers could do a song like this, especially nowadays since the music industry has replaced real musicians with lyp-synchers. Sugarland proves with this song, she's the real thing.
Just think about the "high profile" rock star she did a song with before she wrote this song.. Do the math & you can figure it out. Sad that she would allow herself to be so vulnerable knowing what the consequences would probably be getting involved with a married man.
Some bozo in a bar stalked me the whole night once because he thought I was that chick. Never knew who she was until now. Thank God she's not a dog!
Pinkywkids4...thank you, it was one of the hardest things to do, but I feel good about myself at least. The state prosecutor called me the next day to say she was amazed at how well I kept my dignity..She actually told the other woman if it was HER HUSBAND she wouldn't be as gracious..she'd be beating her rear in the parking lot
It is a whole lot of overacting. Some of it is really stupid looking. Should have been simpler and some deep emotions and not hand beating over done facial expressions. Other wise would have been a great song.
Great singer,great song ,great video. Clowns who hate and disrespect country music and it's artists are missing out on a great american experience. All sugerland ever needed was great material. This song sure seemed to stir up a lot of opionions. I JUST ENJOYED JENNIFER AND HER GREAT TALENT.AND NO SHE IS NOT HARD ON THE EYES.
I didn't hear her say he was married. The poor guy is just trying to decide between a few women, you know...playing the field a little. I'm sure he is just sick about choosing just one. If she is looking for dedication she should hook up with an ugly guy and write a song "why don't you go"
