Miles was and is in a class all by himself. It is interesting to note that he never received the recognition and accolades which were his in these United States. The government of France gave him its highest cultural award. He was too black, too strong and too uncompromising for the Powers-that be in this country. I love him because he was willing to pay the price for what he believed and he truly did it his way. He was indeed, the Prince of Darkness and the Sorcerer.
