Go Rest High on that Mountain , is a song so dear to my heart. My husband picked it when my son was killed 7 years ago . I than picked the same song when my husband died in May, all of Vince Gills music is great.

vince is truly a class act. i have been lucky to have seen him in concert several times and followed him on the golf course during a pro-am. his soft mellow music tugs at my heartstrings through the good and bad times in my life. i am so happy he found his soul mate, amy, late in life. play on vince, you are a real southern gentleman.

There is no doubt about it, Vince Gill is the man, WoW, this Guitar Slinger CD is Awesome, every song, Vince you Rock , been a fan since 1991, & nobody has come down the pike as good to this day as Vince Gill, !! The solo guitar Vince plays on this Cd, WOW.. !!

I have always loved Vince Gill's music as did my father. The most fond memory I have of my father before he had a series of strokes was at Six Flags over texas and Vince was performing. It started to rain and lots of people started to leave the amphitheater but we stayed in our seats. Vince continued to play for two hours through the falling rain and it was the most awesome concert we had ever watched him in yet. When my father died, we played Go Rest High on that Mountain as the final song because of all of Vince's songs this was his most absolute favorite. Your music touches lives in so many different ways. The gift that God has given you is amazing. Thank you.
