AOL: What is your songwriting process like?

Jared Followill: A lot of the songs we had came from sound check and stuff like that. When we play at home, we play in the garage and stuff. We don't really go in the studio and write too much. Most of the songs come from us playing live together, and we definitely had kind of a live feel going on. We played in the studio -- it was really cool. It had like different color lights and stuff like that, smoke machines, a small version of Stonehenge.
