It's early afternoon on a cold February day in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, and Bright Eyes guitarist Mike Mogis is poking his head out from the greenroom at Sony Studios. He asks the first person he sees for a couple of six packs for him and the band.
"Nothing fancy. Just something light and any Mexican beer."
"Like Miller Lite and Corona?"
"Perfect."
And that sets the tone for a laid-back AOL Sessions performance with Bright Eyes.
