Wow, this song is truly awful!! It sounds like a 3rd grader wrote the lyrics-- really juivenille. He needs to stop trying to be cool and just sing some good songs like the ones that made him so popular on Idol. It's clear he is not a writer and he should stick to singing songs written by good composers. Maybe he could work with the arrangers from Idol who seemed so good at capitalizing on his strengths because this new stuff sounds TERRIBLE!!!!! Cuckoo sounds even worse if that's even possible. Words rhyming but not saying anything meaningful.

You really know nothing about music and deserve to just watch AI! That is about what your music IQ is!! This song is a mission song about something profound and you do not get it! After reading your comment I am not surprised! The beat and lyrics and those vocals make this song the best of 2012! It is Queen, MJ and more! Why do I waste my time on someone with so little depth and musical mediocrity!!

I think American Idol judges already "knows" who can make it big without the title "Americal Idol". The "underdog second" seems to win everytime. Example: look at Daughtry...he's fantastic....but he wasn't the #1 on Idol either. Adam is a real talented guy and he proved it without any help. There is no looking back....he's on his way UP! (This writer is 63 years old) and I am not afraid to say: "If you don't like gays....stay away from them....if you don't smoke....don't intrude on those who do....if you don't like Blacks....choose your own friends.....BUT....don't try and control what others think. My grandmother use to tell me..."If you stay busy cleaning up around your own front door, you will not have time to intrude on someone elses front door".

hm, the chorus-vocals remind me of Chaka Khan and Rufus. Yes, this funky rock style of his in "Trespassing" is a success.
