Simmons Addresses Leaked Sex Tape

(Feb. 20) - That sound you hear are office doors around America shutting so music fans -- or just the curious -- can have some private time to look to see if that's actually KISS singer Gene Simmons in a sex tape that's popped up across various Web sites.

Verne Troyer, better known as "Mini-Me" from the 'Austin Powers' films, filed suit on Thursday against TMZ for a host charges related to the celebrity news site's reporting of the existence of a sex tape starring the actor and posting a clip from said tape on the Internet.

The tape appeared on GenesSecret.com and spread like wildfire. In the black and white clips, a man looking a lot like Simmons spends some time with a woman who is rumored to be a model.

"Watch the sex tape Gene doesn't want you to see," reads Genessecret.com. "This video is sure to turn some heads, squeeze some Family Jewels and maybe even get someone FIRED...Watch the real rock icon play a very special performance!"

What does Simmons make of the clip? In a post on his Web site genesimmons.com, he appears to come clean that it is indeed him in the video:

Hi everyone,

You may have heard or seen garbage that has sprung up from my past. Rest assured the proper legal team is looking at all ramifications and options.

And us? Shannon, Nick and Soph are happy and healthy. All is well. And thank you all for the kind words of support.

Simmons has been in a relationship to B-movie icon Shannon Tweed for over 23 years. They put their relationship on display (with less explicit scenes) for the world to see in the A&E series 'Family Jewels.' Simmons, who recently was fired by Donald Trump on 'The Celebrity Apprentice' has often said he and Tweed are "happily unmarried" with two children.

And this was a shock to anyone? Gene Simmons brags about his past with many different women. If the morons that put out this tape were looking for a scandal, they dug dirt on the wrong person.
