Trace Adkins heard those dreaded two words from Donald Trump last night: "You're fired." The country star lost out to British newspaper editor Piers Morgan on the season finale of 'Celebrity Apprentice.' The task at hand for the final two was to coordinate a huge charity event. Adkins was in charge of taking care of the event's performers, The Backstreet Boys, while Morgan was responsible for the auction and food. They were judged on money raised and ticket sales.Though Trump fired Adkins, he had nothing but positive words to say about the country star, calling him a "special human being" and a "beautiful guy." Adkins has expressed mutual admiration for Trump, telling us in his AOL Music Sessions interview that the real estate mogul is an honest, no-nonsense guy, and assuring us that Trump's hair is definitely real.

You had to know that Piers would win, but the real winner is Trace. He's one great person and a real gentleman. So here's to you!!

Not completely accurate...if you watched the program Mr. Trump never actually said, "Trace, you're fired!" He said that Piers was the Celebrity Apprentice. It showed the respect Mr. Trump had for Mr. Adkins.
I disagreed with Mr. Trump...I thought Mr. Adkins did a better job of being a businessman throughout the program. Yes, business is about money...but it is also about how you treat people. And Mr. Adkins did both better than Mr. Morgan.

I think that he should of won!!!! He did a great job! I cant stand piers! I hate that dude! He's to cocky and needs to be slapped by amorosa! I love that woman! And no im not lesbo! Shes just a wonderful and powerful person! Trace and Amorosa were my 2 favorite and i think one of them should of won! Piers should of gone along time ago! That's just how i feel though!

"Birds of a feather flock together" and that puts Trump and Piers Morgan in the same flock. Trace Adkins was a far superior person and businessman than Piers. He actually has won in the long run and I am not a country music fan.

I am so glad Trace was on there. I see him to be a back stabbing liar of a person. He says he admires Trump for his honesty and no-nonsense guy???? Hello, idiot!!! That is exactly what Piers IS!!!!!! How fo you think Trump stayed in business????? Does he lie to peoples faces and kiss ass? This was a conpetion! Piers deservered to win. And after watching the lying back stabbing Trace I would never buy a cd of his ever. Apparently people didn't watch the whole show. Trace constantly lied to peoples faces then talk crap to their face like he was all goody goody. Can not stand him after this show

Trace is a better man than Piers. He came to represent his daughter and others with life threatening food alergies. He did a stellar job and didn't embarrass himself or his charity. He continually took the high road. The same cannot be said for Piers. He had a good cause but wasn't a good embassador or role model.

I had never heard of Mr. Adkins until this reality show. I wanted him to win cause he is a really nice guy. When I saw how happy he was when he saw his 3 main girls show up at the finale, I said to myself he is a real gentleman and a good daddy and a real husband. He seems so gentle and laid back. Good luck to Mr. Adkins and his family and his daughter with those food allergies. I know how it feels. I have 3 grand kids with asthma. I always worry about them.

While winning money for their charity was the goal of the show, without a doubt Trace should have won, if for no other reason that to put that pompous a** in his place once and for all. He may have won the most money, but in that final challenge, had he not had those 3 big donations from Simon and that other man from Cantor-Fitzgerald, he would have not won that much at all. Trace was correct in that the money they donated was pennies to those two people and the ones that donated for Trace were making a bigger sacrifice and Piers was belittleing them.
Trace played the game well and din't have to stoop low to get what he did. He may have not won, but he is by far the big winner in my eyes.

Trace Adkins should have won. Yes Piers raised more money, but seriously, would you want to hire Piers - he is a back stabbing, name dropping , mean spirited guy. I mean look, he told the wait staff to put out little food and give out lots of drinks so they could get everyone drunk so they would donate more money!!!! This guy is a "Role Model"???? Trace did his thing in a low key, gentlemanly way and with a lot of heart. We need more people in the business world like him - there are way too many Piers Morgan's out there already! Piers Morgan and others like him are what is wrong with this country today. GO TRACE. We love you.

TRACE SHOULD'VE WON BUT HIS CHARITY COULDN'T COMPETE WITH PIER'S. LET'S FACE IT..PIER PARADED OUT THE VETS & TRUMP WOULD'VE LOOKED ANTI-AMERICAN IF HE PICKED TRACE'S CHARITY. IT WAS A GREAT SHOW. TRUMP REINVENTED THE APPRENTICE SHOW ONCE AGAIN. TRACE GOT ADDITIONAL $$$ FOR HIS CHARITY FROM ONLINE CONTRIBUTIONS AND ENLARGED HIS FAN BASE BY THE SHOW'S EXPOSURE. NOW PEOPLE LOVE TRACE THAT NEVER KNEW HIM BEFORE.
