Billy Ray Cyrus is heading home to shoot the upcoming 'Hannah Montana' movie with his superstar daughter, Miley. Cyrus tells Nashville's Tennessean newspaper that he's thrilled over Disney's decision to film the movie in Tennessee. He is also convinced it will be a box office smash."Immediately after the writers' strike ended, Disney put their A-team on finishing this script and taking it to the next level," he told the Tennessean. "They ten-folded the script that was there. It's ten times better than it was, and it started off great. I just love the direction of it. The people are getting into place. The infrastructure to make this movie is now in town."
Filming for the 'Hannah Montana' movie will begin in May. The father-daughter team is also set to host the CMT Awards in Nashville on April 14, and Billy Ray will host the reality competition show, 'Nashville Star,' this summer.

This is really cool for them, I can remember his song being #1, playing it on the juke box would get everyone pumped up. now here my daughters (ages 9&10) are into his daughter. I like her but i think she is a bit forward for being 15 yrs old huh..... and why is her voice so deep? if you wouldnt know better without seeing her face you would thimk she was a boy. We did go to the theater to see her concert but WOW for the three of us it cost me almost $100.00 we should of got a signed pic for that kind of money now i am talking popcon and drinks too.woowoo, and we are your average family living paycheck to paycheck, but to see their faces was well PRICELESS!! hey i just made a visa commercial, lol anyway good luck to the Cyrus' on your new movie, i am sure we will be at the theater to see it. MILEY CYRUS ROCKS. MY FRIENDS GAVE ME THE NICKNAME MILEY OR HANNAH BECAUSE I LOOK LIKE MILEY. I SENT IN A PICTURE AND RESUME FOR THE NEW MOVIE BUT FOUND OUT THERE IS AN AGE LIMIT I AM 9 YEARS OLD BUT AM VERY TALL FOR MY AGE I LOOK OLDER THAN I AM. I WOULD LOVE TO MEET MILEY AND BILLY RAY CYRUS.I LIVE IN GEORGIA AND NASHVILLE IS CLOSE TO MY HOME. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE.
