Five Things (to write on your hand)
1. Several of the band members are semi-homeless.
2. They regrettably coined the phrase "scarf rock" whilst describing their sound.
3. Claim they are more punk than Fugazi, and have the smashed cello to prove (?) it.
4. Derive their name, in part, from the films 'The Royal Tenenbaums' and 'Dr. Strangelove.'
5. If our interview is any indication, it's entirely possible that they may, allegedly, enjoy drugs.
The Performance
The So and So's performed four sex-chamber-scarf-folk-pop-rock songs.
The DJ Set
The band members each chose a song that they can't live without. Except for Emily, who cracked under the intense pressure and couldn't choose.
- Paul Simon, 'Graceland'
Chosen by Richard Edwards
- Big Star, 'What's Going On'
Picked by Andy Fry
- David Bowie, 'Changes'
Jesse Lee's pick
