Politically and socially charged singer/songwriter Tom Gabel made a name for himself as the lead singer and guitarist for genre-bending Florida punk outfit Against Me!, a band he started after dropping out of high school at the age of 17 after years of following his military family around the world. After breaking big with 2007's New Wave, Gabel went into the studio to cut a quick and timely solo album dealing with the current political and economic climate.
