The winners of an extensive talent search headed by Geffen Records and DIC Entertainment to create a quintet of singing, dancing, and acting girls, Cassie Scerbo, Karla Deras, Mallory Low, Lina Carattini, and Caroline Ferguson-Scott, all from various geographic and ethnic backgrounds within the U.S., came together in 2006 to form the Slumber Party Girls. Co-produced by label bigshot Ron Fair, the group released its debut album, Dance Revolution, in 2006.
