Vocalist, songwriter, and pianist, James 'Sugar Boy' Crawford passed away this year on September 15 in New Orleans at the age of 77, just a few weeks after Hurricane Isaac hit, and about a month before the airing of the scenes he did with his gifted grandson, Davell Crawford , on the HBO series, Treme.
