The Chieftains mark their 50 year anniversary next month with the release of Voice Of Ages : a collaboration record that sees the Irish folk legends team up with the likes of indie heavyweights Bon Iver and The Decemberists plus nu-country darlings The Secret Sisters and The Civil Wars. The release was produced by the God-like T Bone Burnett and Paddy Moloney, it drops via Decca on April 23.
