There's a distinct circus vibe to Airborne Toxic Event's performance on Kimmel last night, and that has virtually nothing to do with the band's rote takes of "Changing and "Sometime Around Midnight." It has everything to do with the entirely random step team that backs them up, because if you think of Silverlake indie, you think of step teams.
