MetalSucks interviewer extraordinaire and Decibel contributor — had a friend named Robert Dyer. The two bonded over their love of metal (albeit different forms of metal — Justin loved bands like Slayer and Venom, while Robert preferred Stratovarius and Yngwie Malmsteen), and Robert apparently became quite good at the guitar, even launching his own band called — wait for it — Dyer's Eve ( rimshot! ).
