Seizure Crypt is a New York City speedcore band formed in the summer of 2004 by local scene veterans Tom Reardon (vocals, guitar, and bass -- also of Charnel House) and Doug Williamson (drums, percussion, also of Terminal Confusion). Finding it difficult to secure permanent additional musicians who understood their purist, lo-fi vision, the pair eventually got to work on Seizure Crypt's first EP -- aptly titled City of New York -- with guest vocalist Mike S.O.S. and friends Jim Benton (banjo) and Juan Rodriguez (classical guitar) contributing odd bits. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
