The Cardinals made a few roster moves this morning in the wake of injuries and an under-performing bullpen: utility man Skip Schumaker was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring, Allen Craig was activated from the DL and lefty Sam Freeman was promoted to the redbirds' bullpen, reports Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com .
