Tasting benefits storm-struck farmers

Milton Grange No. 685, in collaboration with Greenfield Grange No. 807, hosted a wine tasting at The Saratoga Winery in Saratoga on Saturday, Nov. 12, to benefit farmers in Schoharie County recovering from flood damage caused by hurricanes Irene and Lee. In addition to tasting five different wines made by the Saratoga Winery, over 100 attendees sampled several varieties of local raw milk cheese donated by Willow Marsh Farm of Ballston Spa and sesame flavored artisan crackers donated by Saratoga Crackers of Greenfield.
