Billy Ray Cyrus , who shot to fame more than 20 years ago with his hit, "Achy Breaky Heart," garnered a whole new series of fans when he appeared on the 2001-2004 TV series, "Doc." The Kentucky native, who has since appeared in several TV shows and films, including "Hannah Montana" and "The Spy Next Door," hopes to soon become a regular on the small screen again, alongside one of country music's most iconic stars.

Randy Travis Sentenced in Drunk Driving Incident

The troubled country star has been sentenced to 180 days in jail for a drunk-driving incident in August of 2012, when he was found lying naked in a road after crashing his car into a construction zone, with a blood alcohol level greater than 0.15. The "Forever and Ever Amen" singer, who pleaded guilty in the case, can avoid doing any time behind bars if he follows the judge's strict orders.

Randy Travis Honored at Grand Ole Opry

Randy Travis was joined Tuesday night (Oct. 4) at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry House by fellow country greats Carrie Underwood , John Anderson , Josh Turner and more as he celebrated 25 years in country music and as a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Fittingly, the tribute coincides with the release of Randy's latest CD, 'Anniversary Celebration,' which features the North Carolina native reworking some of his most unforgettable hits backed by Carrie ('Is It Still Over?'), John ('Diggin' Up Bones') and Josh ('T.I.M.E'). All of those collaborations were spotlighted during the Opry performance, which also included Randy performing several of his most popular hits of the past 25 years.
