‘I got extremely excited hearing this’: Peter Frampton plans to issue previously unheard Humble Pie

Peter Frampton is at work with his former bandmate Jerry Shirley on an expanded album showcasing Humble Pie's legendary stint in May 1971 at the Fillmore East. A portion was featured on Humble Pie's Performance Rocking the Fillmore double album, released in 1971, but this new project will include unedited recordings of all four sets, Frampton confirms via Facebook.
