Jam Packed Tuesday feat. Suuns, Primal Scream, Disappears, Eluvium and Barn Owl

There's more flash than a red carpet and enough pulsating black and white to make your eyes pop like a manga comic character, Suuns' video for "2020″ shows the band beginning to fulfill the promise of their 2010 Zeroes QC. Before, I had them pegged as Radiohead acolytes with more style than substance. The thick bass groove of this surprisingly, danceable number suggests otherwise. Images Du Futur will be released March 5th on Secretly Canadian. The band will be in Cleveland on April 18th for a date at the Grog Shop with Besnard Lakes.

WATCH: Barn Owl Announce New Album

San Francisco's Barn Owl have announced their new album V (artwork above), out on April 15 via Thrill Jockey - have a watch of them performing opening track 'Void Redux' at the Thrill Jockey 20th anniversary show in their hometown last year: The duo's Jon Porras and Evan Caminiti have evolved their desert rock blueprint with the extensive addition of electronics and synths to their legions of guitars, with the end-result being such detailed, slow-burn compositions as 'Void Redux', as well as tracks venturing into different genre terrain: the text accompanying the album announcement tells us "in addition to dub, V is informed by musique concrete, library music, and minimal techno".
