Read MoreAl Jourgensen thinks it's really gross the way the memories of dead musicians are being constantly exploited for profit, so he decided to take a stand the best way he knows how: by writing an eight-minute-long, incredibly repetitive song about the subject, and then releasing a video which is about as subtle as his facial piercings.

if there is one dude in music i would not fuck with, even if he is early 50′s, its al jourgensen. i have never met the man, nor do i think i know of anyone who has, which is weird cause coming from chicago there's always someone who knows someone. im sure he's a cool dude, but comes off menacing as hell. ive even been to his recording studio, chicago trax – at least thats what i think it was/is called, which was right across from cabrini green. anyone know if its still there? i knew a girl who was interning there, and she hadnt even met him, if memory serves me correctly. either way she brought me there one late evening and the place was cool and creepy w/ animal skulls gracing much of the hallways. anyway, i really didnt get into ministry until psalm 69 even though i had many friends who were into their early stuff. psalm 69 is one bad ass motherfuckin record. its on spotify – will open spotify, if you subscribe to such service. here they are performing in sacramento, ca on 2.27.90 and this bootleg goes by the name of welcome to the secret world of ministry.
