Based in Greensboro, NC, Mercy Mercedes was a five-piece outfit that specialized in an uptempo, frenetic, new wave-y style of pop/rock that quickly won them a great deal of fan support and -- eventually -- an indie record deal. After honing their skills on tour, the band recorded and released an EP, Casio Rodeo, which sold well online.
