Stanford freshman Kristian Ipsen secured another spot at the World Cup in February, finishing second in the 3-meter on Monday at the Winter National Championships following a combined score of 1516.55. Ipsen lost the gold medal by .20 points as Chris Colwill secured the other spot with a mark of 1516.55. Stanford graduate Dwight Dumais finished in ninth place with a combined score of 1271.85. Ipsen secured at least 85 points in each of his final five dives, posting 9.5's on his final dive, a reverse 1 ½ somersault and twist for 91.80 points. Read More
