Stanford freshman Kristian Ipsen secured another spot at the World Cup in February, finishing second in the 3-meter on Monday at the Winter National Championships following a combined score of 1516.55. Ipsen lost the gold medal by .20 points as Chris Colwill secured the other spot with a mark of 1516.55. Stanford graduate Dwight Dumais finished in ninth place with a combined score of 1271.85.
