What The Critics Say

Marc Russo's first recording since leaving The Yellowjackets showcases his alto backed by sparse funk-oriented rhythms provided by a variety of anonymous-sounding rhythm sections. What The Critics Say

Woodwind musician Mark Russo presents a fresh approach to Christmas standards with his release Instrumental Christmas. The well-crafted disc offers innovative interpretations of Yuletide favorites, including a Latin beat "White Christmas..." ~ MusD, All Music Guide
