Some often wonderful singing, even though he seldom received a tune worthy of his efforts. Louis Price was one of many African-American males who emerged in the early '90s competing for the role of eventual successor to Luther Vandross. Price, Gene Rice, and Keith Washington make similar songs. The problem thus far has been that Washington gets better material, stronger production, and has generated much more attention.
