Accordion Player Juho Kauppinen Quits Korpiklaani

You might think that accordionist Juho Kauppinen has left Korpiklaani because he wanted to play polka or was really just overwhelmed by the amount of groupies throwing themselves at him after every show, but shockingly, that's not the reason he quit the band at all: "Accordion has never been my primary instrument. I also understood that performing in front of an audience is not exactly what I hugely enjoy. Strange as it sounds, what I most want from making music nowadays is playing guitar at home."

But, on a more serious note, I think one reason is that in the past it was considered a normal thing to do and then suddenly, for a long period, everything relating to it was forbidden, or at least really not tolerated.

There are certain things that you just never hear anyone say ; I've never met someone who's stoked on the new Nickelback, never heard anyone say they want to use Papyrus as their default font (Lamb of God not withstanding), never heard anyone say they miss dial-up modems… and I've never met anyone cop to being a fan of Korpiklaani.
