This week, we're speaking with Adrienne Bailon, who first grabbed the attention of MTV viewers when her girl-group trio, 3LW, took-over TRL with the video for their hit single "No More (Baby I'ma Do Right) back in the fall of 2000. Adrienne, who was only 16 at the time, learned what she knew about fashion from growing up in a Latino neighborhood on New York City's Lower East Side. In the "No More" video she definitely looks like a girl from the block, clad in R&B/Hip-Hop inspired gear - belly shirts, two-toned bleached jeans and big hoop earrings. These styles that may look pretty heinous now, but were perfectly acceptable at the time. This was during the heyday of the teen pop explosion, and after releasing a platinum selling first album titled 3LW , Adrienne and her girls soon hit the road on the MTV TRL Tour 2001 with Destiny's Child, Nelly, Eve, and Jessica Simpson. The group released a few more hit singles, and a second album, A Girl Can Mack , before disbanding a few years later.
