Kendall Gaveck was born July 20, 1991, in suburban Chicago. She started singing while still a little girl, and was soon performing regularly in musical theater productions. Gaveck launched her pop career in 2001 with a series of self-recorded demos, and by 2004 she'd graduated to slick ballads and bubbly dance-pop numbers akin to acts like Play and Stevie Brock.
