The Rabbit Ears series presents this version of the classic children's story Thumbelina narrated by actress Kelly McGillis and accompanied by the contemporary instrumentalist and composer Mark Isham. McGillis' diction is clear, and her delivery is driven by the gentle emphasis added to key words and phrases. Isham's score follows the story nimbly, and seems to be informed by a hint of medieval folk music.
