The Houston landmarks commemorating the political legacy of President George H.W. Bush are set to grow with the addition of a statue of former Secretary of State James A. Baker III in Sesquicentennial Park. The Baker monument, which also will highlight the extensive role played by Baker's forebears in Houston's history, will be built with privately raised funds and eventually will sit a short distance from a similar monument to Bush dedicated several years ago.
