happy new years, peoples. hope everyone made it home safe and sound, and if you didnt well you probably arent reading this then. i am going to be doing a bunch of random posts throughout the day. so, if you dont have much to do other than chilling on the couch, check back from time to time. i used to love, love, love this record, gastr del sol's 1996 drag city release, upgrade & afterlife . it was perfect for riding the l and the bus in the early chicago mornings. its definitely not for everyone, and me thinks its definitely a headphone record, but once it hits, it hits pretty hard. for some reason, amazon has ppl selling it for like 100 bucks which is ridiculous and only leads me to believe its out of print.
