Watch: John Fogerty, Foo Fighters Light Up 'Fortunate Son' in the Studio

For his upcoming collaboration album Wrote a Song for Everyone , John Fogerty joined the Foo Fighters in their Los Angeles studio to record Creedence Clearwater Revival's 1969 anti-war anthem "Fortunate Son." At the studio, Fogerty hashes out that irresistible guitar lick while Dave Grohl, on rhythm guitar, helps him wail "It ain't me," a striking meeting of a rubric rocker and his amped apprentices.

"You have to understand, I grew up in Sheffield, England, so I was completely removed from Las Vegas and that whole mystique.
