Singer-songwriter Edwin McCain will make a day-long appearance Nov. 9 in Fountain Inn, when he'll hit the links at Carolina Springs Golf Club and serenade crowds at the city's Civic Center for the Performing Arts. It's all part of a fundraiser that organizers hope will raise more than $10,000 for the performing arts center, which produces six Broadway musicals each year, as well as hosting a chamber orchestra series, summer theater camp and art classes for area residents, said Van Broad, Civic Center director.
