    What The Critics Say

It's hard to pin down exactly who Drive A bases their melodic rock sound on, as elements of '80s sleaze rock (à la Guns N' Roses) and '90s pop punk (à la Green Day) are prominently displayed throughout their debut full-length, 2009's Loss of Desire. And throughout it all, the group keeps an eye on the radio dial -- always making sure to include plenty of bubblegum sweet melodies and choruses that should appeal to the mainstream masses. Co-produced by Guns N' Roses/Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum (along with the band and Dennis Hill), tracks such as "Loss of Desire," "Everyone's Alone," and "Are You Blind" will sound absolutely dashing played from the Warped Tour stage (which -- surprise, surprise -- the group already toured with, a year before the arrival of Loss of Desire). ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide
