Deniz Seki (born July 1, 1970 in Istanbul) is a Turkish female pop music singer. She joined TRT and met composer Melih Kibar. Through him she worked with Emel and Kenan Doğulu. Deniz's album ''Hiç kimse Değilim'' came out in 1997. Since then she has released five other music albums: ''Anlattim'', ''Şeffaf'', ''Aşkların En Güzeli'', ''Aşk Denizi'' and ''Sahici''. In 2006, she appeared in the movie ''Turks in Space''. Although she is an excellent singer and has accomplished a lot with her music, she has been known more for her "relationship" with the renowned clarinet virtuoso Hüsnü Şenlendirici, who is married. Her fame got even more damaged with the frequent statements of the obviously hurt and betrayed wife of Şenlendirici.
