Rocco Rampino (born 1983 in Lecce), better known as Congorock, is an Italian electro, house and dance-punk producer who found fame with his song "Babylon" in 2010. He also found fame along with his close friend and colleague Bob Rifo, otherwise known as The Bloody Beetroots. From underground phenomenon to emerging star of the world’s biggest dance floors: the hottest fresh face of international dance music hails from Italy: Congorock. In only two years, with the single Babylon, the remix of Somebody to Love (Boy George/Mark Ronson/Andrew Wyatt), and One (Swedish House Mafia), Rocco Rampino has earned the respect of the most famous names in the game, like David Guetta at the legendary Cocoricò of Riccione where he recently shared the console. The Leccese’s powerful electro-house sound and his tropical deejay sets have gained the support from Afrojack to Diplo, from Tiësto to Benny Benassi, from Martin Solveig to Duck Sauce and the Crookers. They’re all expectantly awaiting spring 2013 for his debut album to drop on Ultra Records. In 2012 Congorock toured with Barbadian R&B singer Rihanna on her "777 Tour", at around about the same time there is a Congorock remix of the Rihanna song Diamonds which made Congorock heard to Rihanna. The song "Sirius" with Alle Benassi was included on the soundtrack to Chronicle by Josh Tank. Congorock regularly updates his page on his official website congorock.com, this is linked to his Twitter account and he posts about tour dates and new releases.
