An aggressive and melodic indie rock band on the Deep Elm label, New York's Camber was formed in the mid-'90s by vocalist/guitarist Barry Lott, drummer Chris Chin, guitarist Corby Caldwell, and bassist Joey DellaCroce. The quartet's debut album, Beautiful Charade, was released in 1997. They took two years to complete the follow-up, 1999's Anyway, I've Been There. Like the debut, it was produced by John Agnello (Burning Airlines, Chavez, Dinosaur Jr.).
