On the heels of a successful reunion tour by Robert Pollard's first, and far more popular band, Guided by Voices, and with persistent rumors that the classic lineup of that band (Those largely responsible for albums like Propeller, Bee Thousand, Alien Lanes, and Under the Bushes, Under the Stars) will release an album of new material, it's been easy to overlook what Pollard has accomplished with John Moen and Chris Slusarenko in Boston Spaceships.

Considering in the past year Robert Pollard has been on an extended tour with his old band, Guided by Voices, and has continued to release solo albums and has continued to release side projects, it's hard to say exactly when he had time to get together with Chris Slusarenko (Bass/Guitar/Keyboards) and Chris Moen (Drums) to record a new Boston Spaceships album.

admittedly, i, for some reason, did not listen to the last pollard led boston spaceships record, zero to 99 . maybe im still, subconsciously, on a all things pollard hiatus, which i have talked about before. after so many years of worshipping/purchasing the man put out, i had to take a break – my wallet could only take so much. what i am getting at is that this this new boston spacehip record, our cubehouse still rocks , which came out on the 7th, is fuckin awesome and will probably get me back into my long lost musical friend. better warn the wife a spending spree may commence shortly. this is definitely gonna be in my top ten, no doubt. here's the first single.
