A husband and wife pop duo, Ajai (born Mohamad Faizal Maas) and Nurul released two albums together, the first of which was quite successful in the Asian pop charts -- particularly their home nation of Malaysia. Eventually the two would shift course and begin to work outside of the normal pop market, with Nurul working on-stage in a Bollywood musical entitled My Bollywood Summer, and husband Ajai starting a studio and label called Wake the Baby. The pair, through their new business venture, were not only in the recording game, but in the development side of things, bringing and nurturing new talents such as Shazzy and Isad Izuddin.
