Aaron Embry (born November 10, 1975, in Bellflower, California) is an American songwriter and record producer. He is the firstborn son of screenwriter / talent manager Karen Embry and dental technician H. Charles Randall. He is the eldest brother of actor Ethan Embry and photographer Kessia Embry. Embry has written, recorded, and/or performed with a diverse roster of mainstream musical artists including Daniel Lanois, Jane's Addiction, Elliott Smith, Willie Nelson, Alex Ebert, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Scott Weiland, Emmylou Harris, and he is the leader of the indie-rock group [http://amnion.bandcamp.com Amnion]. In February 2008, [http://amnion.bandcamp.com Amnion] released their debut full-length album "AmenNamO". In March 2009, Aaron wrote an original score to Yukio Mishima's 1966 silent short Patriotism. In 2009, Embry produced and recorded the debut album of Long Beach-based band Avi Buffalo for Sub Pop Records at his home studio "Hunter's Hollow" in Glassell Park, CA. From July 2010 through September 2011 Aaron was the touring pianist with Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. In August 2012, Embry booked a string of dates opening for Mumford and Sons in support of his debut solo album, Tiny Prayers. Aaron resides with wife, Nikki, and their daughter, Mayla, in Ojai, CA.
