Bassist Art Davis was 45 when he finally had his first opportunity to lead his own record session. This superior trio set with pianist Hilton Ruiz and drummer Greg Bandy serves as a fine feature for the adventurous bassist who contributed three of the five selections including the 20-minute "Add."
