What the Critics Say
Most good rock bands manage to release one or two really good albums, them get progressively worse until they break up and move on to other projects. Although the Didjits disbanded after releasing their best album, Que Sirhan Sirhan, the group took its time reaching its climax. After releasing five previous records and antagonizing audiences across the globe, The Didjits finally called it quits with this record, which serves as a fitting epitaph for a group that had always flirted with romantically gory rock death -- fast cars, heavy drugs, and steamy sluts. On "Evilized," Sims is the King of Rock & Roll, the teen screamer with the most. Which he is, in his own mind anyway. ~ Matt Carlson, All Music Guide
