What the Critics Say
No One Stands Alone was recorded shortly after Don Gibson established himself as a popular recording artist as well as a successful songwriter. It was his first gospel album and it balanced traditional songs with a handful of original cuts. Gibson is in good voice throughout the record and the production is typical of late '50s country-pop records, featuring choirs and strings. Though it isn't a major album for Gibson, it is enjoyable and the best gospel record he recorded. The CD reissue includes four bonus tracks. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
